The RG-Orderstate was a breakaway military state established by the Rulerguard (RG) during periods of political conflict within the Greater Teutonnic Realm and Greater Alemannic Realm. It was closely tied to the Rulerguard's leadership and its loyalty to Leutgard. The Orderstate first emerged following the collapse of the Greater Alemannic Realm and later reappeared during the War of the Rulersflowers, when the Rulerguard challenged the authority of the new Realmsleadership. The Orderstate served as an independent state and base for the Rulerguardsmen. The existence of the Orderstate is a display of the Rulerguard's willingness to operate outside the authority of the central Realm when it disagreed with the direction of its leadership or when anti-Leutgardist elements had established themselves within the Greater Realm. == History == === Establishment (2021) === Shortly after the fall of the Greater Alemannic Realm in 2021, the People's Revolutionary Republic was founded by Jozeihf, it was short-lived and it's successor, the People's Democratic Republic (PDR), therefore takes precedence in the history. The PDR was founded as a communist state under the leadership of General Secretary Zehntrum. The new government began establishing control over the former Alemannic territories and sought to govern the region under its own political system. The former Alemannic Rulerguard, however, remained steadfast in its loyalty to Ruler Leutgard and refused to cooperate with the new Republic. Rather than joining the new government, the Rulerguard organized itself into a self-governing territory known as the RG-Orderstate. The Orderstate, serving as the direct opposition to the PDR, provided the Rulerguard with an independent base from which it could continue to preserve its organization, maintain its loyalty to Leutgard, and continue operating outside the authority of the People's Democratic Republic. It became an important part of the movement's survival following the collapse of the Greater Alemannic Realm. The Orderstate remained active until the formation of the Greater Teutonnic Realm in late 2022. Teutonnia brought together many of the remaining loyalists and became the successor to the earlier Teutonnic organizations. === Re-establishment (2026) === The RG-Orderstate was declared once again in March 2026, following the RCR-forced resignation of Leutgard and the appointment of Odoyevsky as the new Ruler of the Realm. The Rulerguard strongly opposed the change in leadership. As Leutgard's personal guard, its members considered their loyalty to him central to their purpose, despite Leutgard having disbanded the RG oath. The appointment of a successor without their support led to growing tensions between the Rulerguard and the new Realmsleadership. The Rulerguard eventually seized Lenburg Castle and declared the establishment of the RG-Orderstate. Its forces took positions around the castle, creating a standoff with the Teutonnic Armed Forces and Unityguard. The declaration marked the beginning of open conflict between the Rulerguard and the central Realm. == Government and Organisation == The RG-Orderstate was a military-led state built around the Rulerguard and its command structure. Its leadership was closely tied to the senior officers of the organization, who held both military and political authority. The head of the orderstate was President of the Ruler's Order DerSpiess, who in turn delegated executive and military powers to the RG-Stateschancellor and the Rulersmarshal. Unlike the Greater Teutonnic Realm, which had several major institutions responsible for political leadership, military affairs, security, and administration, the Orderstate was centred primarily on the Rulerguard. Considering the Rulerguard's militaristic nature, it is presumed there was limited civilian leadership involved in the Orderstate. == Legacy == The RG-Orderstate remains an important part of the history of the Rulerguard and the Greater Teutonnic Realm. Its original establishment in 2021 helped preserve Leutgard's remaining loyalists after the collapse of the Greater Alemannic Realm. Its re-establishment in 2026 became one of the defining events of the War of the Rulersflowers, also known as the Rulerguard Civil War. The conflict highlighted the tensions between the Rulerguard and the Realm's central leadership, and demonstrated the difficulties of maintaining unity within the Teutonnic movement.
