=== Type XXI U-Boat === The Type XXI U-Boat is the latest addition to the 10th Undersea Assault-Flotilla's submarine fleet and represents its most advanced submarine currently in service. Classified as a large attack submarine, the Type XXI was introduced to provide the Flotilla with a faster, more modern, and technologically advanced alternative to its older Type IX U-Boats. Entering production in 1946, the Type XXI has remained in production and service up to the present day. Its current armament consists of two 20mm Flak cannons for anti-aircraft defence and eight torpedo tubes.
