== Military career == Following the return of the Ruler, Witterhelm enlisted in the Greater Teutonnic Navy, joining the Coastal Artillery Division, before transferring to the Greater Teutonnic Airforce and the 1. Parachute Division. After two years of service, including the US-Teutonnic War, during which he received the GTAF MSB and the Parachutist Badge, Witterhelm was meritoriously promoted to Flight Lieutenant and became a staff officer within the 1. Parachute Division. He was eventually appointed its Divisional Commanding Officer, leading the division through the War of Liberation. Witterhelm was then appointed Chief Master Sergeant of the Airforce, before the Ruler requested that he serve as Air Marshal of Teutonnia. In this role he earned the Air Force Honor Dagger.
