=== Type IX U-Boat === The Type IX U-Boat is the longest-serving submarine class operated by the 10th Undersea Assault-Flotilla, having remained in service since the Flotilla's early years. Classified as a large attack submarine, the Type IX was originally developed for the Navy in 1936 and has continued to be operated up to the present day. Its current armament consists of a torpedo salvo, two 20mm anti-aircraft cannons, one 37mm anti-aircraft cannon, and a 128mm KwK 4 L/55 deck gun.
