Editing 2026 Realmspresident/Ruler Election (section)

=== Election Results ===
The election officially lasted seven days, as established in Leutgard's original announcement. During this period, members of the Realm were given the opportunity to cast their votes for their preferred candidate.

At the conclusion of the voting period, on the 26th of October 2026, '''Pandenulf was declared the winner''', receiving 573 votes against DerSpiess's 447 votes.

More than one thousand members of the Realm participated in the election, making it a significant undertaking for the Central Election Commission. Throughout the voting period, the Commission carried out quiet audits of the submitted votes to ensure the results were properly reviewed.

Pandenulf's victory marked the end of DerSpiess's presidency and the conclusion of the Realm's first group leader election. However, the events that followed would bring changes far beyond the appointment of a new Realmspresident.
