=== VonDrachenholm's Withdrawal and Pandenulf's Rise ===
Despite his strong position in the campaign, '''VonDrachenholm eventually decided to withdraw from the presidential race'''. He considered the responsibilities of the Realmspresident to be too great a personal burden and decided not to continue pursuing the position.

However, rather than leaving the campaign entirely, VonDrachenholm publicly endorsed '''Pandenulf''', who had previously been part of his political team. Pandenulf subsequently re-entered the race in his place, taking over much of the support and political backing that had gathered around VonDrachenholm.

This changed the direction of the election. The final contest was now between the sitting Realmspresident DerSpiess and former Deputy Ruler Pandenulf, with both candidates representing different visions for the future of Teutonnia.
