== Principles == The Greater Teutonnic Navy is founded upon three principal values: Community, Ambition, and Dedication. These principles define not only the conduct expected of its personnel, but the character of the Navy itself. The Navy is a sanctuary for both the casual and the competitive, the role-players and the battle-hardened, the seasoned veterans, the goofball, and the eager novice. All are invited, all are embraced, and all have the opportunity to carve out their own path through diligence, camaraderie, and dedication. The strength of a fleet is not measured solely by the vessels it commands, but by the people who stand upon their decks. Every sailor, marine, officer, and commander forms part of a greater brotherhood bound together by shared service and common purpose. Within the Navy, every member has a place. Whether one seeks glory upon the high seas, camaraderie within a squadron, or simply a place to enjoy the community, the Navy welcomes those willing to contribute to its continued strength. The Navy must never be satisfied with mediocrity. We are always seeking improvement, always striving for greatness, and never willing to accept second best, and neither should you. The Fleets of the Realm must continually advance, whether through greater discipline, stronger formations, improved organization, or the pursuit of ever greater achievements. Every exercise, operation, and engagement presents an opportunity to learn, improve, and surpass what came before. Those who possess the ambition to rise through the ranks, command their own formations, lead their comrades, or simply become better sailors will find no shortage of opportunities within the Navy. The Navy is forever dedicated to the Eternal Ruler and his Realm. Its sailors are dedicated to the comrades who came before them and to those who will follow, carrying their traditions and defending their honor. They are dedicated to overcoming every foe, including those believed to be undefeatable; to conquering the waves; to standing firm when the seas grow hostile; and to bringing glory to the Realm. Dedication means remaining steadfast when victory is uncertain, maintaining discipline when circumstances are difficult, and standing beside one's comrades when they are most needed. The Navy expects its members to give their best not merely for themselves, but for the people who sail beside them and for the institution they represent. To serve in the Greater Teutonnic Navy is to become part of something greater than oneself, a continuing tradition carried from one generation of sailors to the next.
