== Appointment as Ruler == Following Leutgard's resignation on 1 March 2026, Odoyevsky was appointed as his successor. The appointment was intended to preserve political continuity after the departure of the Realm's founding Eternal Ruler. However, the [[Rulerguard]] refused to recognize Odoyevsky's legitimacy. The organization considered Leutgard's departure incompatible with the oath it had sworn to him personally, and viewed the new administration as lacking the authority associated with Leutgard's rule.
